It started with a labrador named Beau and a very soggy car seat.

We spent months looking for a waterproof seat cover that wouldn't slide around, wouldn't smell after a week, and wouldn't make Beau look like he was riding in a shipping crate. Most of what we found was overpriced, flimsy, or just plain ugly.

That's where Hoofti began. We're based in Portland, Oregon, a city where dogs come along to almost every coffee shop, trail, and farmers market. Talking to other owners on walks and at the dog park, we realized we weren't the only ones frustrated with pet gear that looked good online and disappointed at home.

So we built the shop we wished existed: beds, travel gear, apparel, grooming tools, and everyday essentials for dogs and cats, all in one place. We write every product page ourselves in plain language, so you know exactly what you're getting, what it's made of, and what size to choose before you buy.

We also think good pet gear shouldn't come with surprise costs. Shipping is free on every US order with no minimum, and if something isn't right, you have 30 days from delivery to request a return. Our Refund Policy spells out exactly how it works.

Hoofti is a small team with a big soft spot for animals. We're pet owners first, and we answer every email ourselves. If you're unsure which bed will fit your crate or which harness suits your dog's build, just ask. We'd rather help you pick the right thing than have you send the wrong one back.
